PVC film, also known as vinyl film, is a thin thermoplastic film available in a variety of forms and finishes. The production process of PVC films is not complicated. Generally production lines are composed of rollers, printing machine, back coating machine, and cutting machine, making the thickness of films from 0.3mm to 0.7mm. But to make the film thinner while still ensuring its quality requires more powerful machines and technical support. The films that our company uses is of 0.12mm thin. For the back coating, it’s composed of a special material which is high-energy affinity, it is precisely because of this kind of back coating that the PVC film can be closely laminate with the substrate,it will not be came off for ten or even fifteen years.

Generally speaking, the entire production process is carried out at high temperature, and its tensile strength is as high as 29MPa. In the previous tests, both PE membrane and EVA membrane were damaged, while the PVC film was still intact.
